There is an investment product called Mohat.

Simply put, it's a service where you form a syndicate and invest in solar power generation services through that syndicate.

More specifically, investors invest/lend money, and the syndicate finds existing or new investment opportunities, installs solar panels, generates revenue through power sales, and distributes that revenue to the investors (syndicate members).

I invested 1 million won around this time last year, but I haven't received it yet.

First of all, it hasn't failed yet, but I naturally assumed that the money would be deposited into my account upon maturity.

I inquired, and apparently not. If you don't "request" it one month before maturity (neither before nor after), it's automatically extended for one year. Furthermore, it's automatically extended and cannot be canceled midway.

They say cancellation is "absolutely" impossible.

Moreover, they don't even contact you during the period when cancellation is possible.

There's no automatic cancellation function, no contact,

Frankly, I highly doubt whether this will mature next year.

I've done a lot of P2P investing over the years, and the recovery rate seems to be only about 20-30%.

Well, I guess all P2Ps are the same now...

Let's just say I've gained more experience.

To be honest, I know a lot about solar power and consider myself almost an expert; I even worked for a company in that field.

Well, without innovation, just blindly... will it really be profitable...? Even knowing that recovery could be difficult, why did I invest in the first place -_-;;
