AI Translation Discovered Through "<Black and White Chef>"

Actually, after posting a parody of <Black and White Chef> yesterday, I suddenly remembered and looked it up.

In fact, AI has a wider range of expertise than ordinary people, and therefore, the quality of translation for advanced knowledge is superior. But I wondered how it would handle this kind of popular translation.

But as I suspected.

Basically, AI translation failed to handle the popular nuances.

First, the title <Black and White Chef> literally means black and white chefs. So, when durumis' AI translated it, it became <白黒料理人 (Shiro Kuro Ryōrin)> in Japanese and <Black and White Chef> in English. However, when it aired in Japan, it was called <白と黒のスプーン (Shiro to Kuro no Supūn)> (White and Black Spoon), and in the US, because the term "black and white" couldn't be used due to local sensitivities, it aired as <Culinary Class Wars>.

It seems that translations that don't reflect real-time changes are still a weakness of AI.

How to improve this is still unknown. We can't pull information in real-time, and while we'll consider various methods, it will likely remain a challenge for quite some time.
